February – the month of Love. Did you know that 10% of annual marriage proposals will happen on Valentine’s Day?

During this month of Love, one sector that I’m imploring you not to forget is your existing customers. It takes more time and resources to gain a new customer than keep an existing one.  I see many business owners spending more time courting new customers to the detriment of existing customers.

Years ago, Neil Diamond sang a wonderful song, called ‘You don’t bring me flowers anymore’. It’s quite a sad song, it’s talks about two people not talking anymore, the way they used to. And in the end, they say goodbye.

68% of consumers will never return to a business due to apathy. That’s a serious amount of lost income for something that can easily be avoided.
