I’m involved with the PR for the Global Coderdojo conference to be held in Slane Castle on 11 & 12 April 2013. Today, we did the photoshoot to launch the conference so expect to hear more about that later in the week.
I did a bit of research for photos around Slane Castle and decided that we should take a few shots of the Castle in the background with the Coderdojo team in the foreground on the Canon.
So while setting up a shot, we had a bit of fun with James Whelton, co-founder of the Coderdojo movement. He can now say that he officially played at Slane Castle like the musical greats of Queen, Rolling Stones and U2. His performance might not be as majestic (or as long!) as Ronnie Wood or The Edge but he has played at Slane!
