Day 27 – The Magic Formula of Copy-Writing

31 days to write better text by Denise Fay : Achieve MarketingI often get asked about the magic words to use when writing copy. Magic formulas don’t exist. They don’t exist in real life, they don’t exist in copy-writing.

There is no get-rich-quick scheme when it comes to writing. It comes down to what I talked about in Day 1 – get to know your audience, find out what they want and talk to them using the language that they like.

Connecting with your audience requires you. Your ability to engage, your voice, your personality, your choice of words. You need to talk to your reader as if you were talking to them face to face.

Once you have the fundamentals in place, then you can look at your language – the words that motivate and the words that are down right insulting.

Words proven to get results

The following is a list of words that have been proven to be motivators. They don’t replace the copy that you have researched and wrote. They simply supplement it.
